The experience gained in more than 100 years of furniture production enables the PELIPAL group to further extend its leading market position in Europe thanks to impressive quality, functionality and modern design.

More than 500 staff members develop, produce and market furniture ranges in a wide range of styles for the bathroom sector at several locations throughout Europe. PELIPAL is now able to deliver to more than 25 countries thanks to its production locations in Valencia (Spain), Weißenfels and Schlangen. Ecological sustainability is an important basic principle for the company. We use wood as a renewable raw material. Completely in accordance with our motto of "think global, act local", we are always thankful for customer suggestions and allow these to enter our central product and design workflow. This enables PELIPAL to attract attention to itself as a trendsetter in the bathroom furniture market again and again.

In 2006, the conversion of the old weaving works into an attractive exhibition hall with adjacent office space was completed. The new exhibition hall makes it possible to present purchasers from all large trade organisations almost all our products in a clearly laid-out exhibition. The production area was also considerably extended at the same time.

  • Pelipal - A history of the company

    PELIPAL started in 1906 as a joinery and cabinet-making works in Bad Lippspringe, Germany. In 1955 they started a series of kitchen furniture and wasbasin cupboards and set up a sales network in West Germany. 1906 Foundation of joinery and cabinet-making works in Bad Lippspringe. In 1930 Hans Wilhelm Peters took over the management of PELIPAL from his father Conrad Peters. In the 60s PELIPAL moved to its current location in Schlangen and in 1974 the company concentrated its production of bathroom furniture. 

    Throughout the 80s and the 90s the company expanded with a series of acquisitions and expanded into Poland, the Czech Republic and Valencia in Spain. Expansion of the factories continued including a new 6000 sqm logistics site in Weißenfels. 

    In the new millenium further expansion including a new photographic studio and increased production areas. Between 2002-2004 a new, completly automatic, production line was launched. This investment continued with a new exhibition centre, administration buildings and further increase in production facilies in Weißenfels and Schlangen. PELIPAL now boasts one of the most sophisticated production facilities in bathroom furniture manufacture. 
     

  • Pelipal - The future

    More than 32,000 pieces of furniture leave the PELIPAL group every week, which makes a total of 1.5 million furniture items every year. PELIPAL is in a continuous modernisation process in order to cope with the strongly increasing product quantities both now and in the future.

    PELIPAL has implemented a completely automatic production line for the manufacture of carcase parts since 2007. This means that the company is excellently prepared for the future, and owns one of the most modern production lines in contract-based production.
